Description
Traditionally, in Northern Thailand and neighbouring countries, families would gather to sit on a mat on the floor for meals with their food on a kantoke tray. These trays come in a variety of sizes.
WHAT DID I DO TO IT?
I sanded it down and spruced it up with a coat of colored, low-voc furniture paint. Then, I washed and sanded it down and applied my mom’s all-natural wood wax to finish it off (Sabu-Sabu).
IDEAS FOR USE: as a tray/small coffee table on top of a sturdy sofa, fruit tray, display tray
